Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great week and a wonderful Valentines day! While the week was slow and a little tedious at times, I definitly saw a lot of miracles
️
A lot of lessons ended up falling through this week which was disapointing. But God guided us to where we needed to be and we met some really incredible people. I think the best example of this happened last night. We were out knocking doors and making some visits and we weren't really having a lot of success. We got in the car to go to the next visit we had planned, but we really felt like we needed to go talk to people at El Super (a grocery store). We got there and the parking lot was pretty empty, but there were a lot of people in the laundromat next door, so we decided to go there. The first person we talked to was a sweet lady named Luz who was so so kind. As we were talking to her Emanuel, one of our friends who just got baptized, walks in! It was so cool and it really showed us that God is guiding us to where we need to be.
Some other things that happened this week:
- We got permission to go to Chick-fil-a as a district for our district lunch
- We had interviews with President O! I found out that I'm staying in Fontana and my companion had her final interview because she's flying to Peru next week (she's a visa waiter)
- We got Valentines Day frozen yogurt with our roommates
- Our friend Chucky came to church for the first time!
And now for the spiritual thought

This week during my personal study I was reading a talk for Thomas S. Monson and I really liked this quote:
"Do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities, but pray for abilities equal to your tasks. Then the performance of your tasks will be no miracle, but you will be the miracle"
I love this because with God we can do so much more than we can by ourselves. He knows our true potential and He will help us become who He knows we can be if we let Him.
I love you all! Have a great week
