Hello everyone
I hope you're all doing well and that you had a great week
This week was pretty good! Here are some highlights:
- We had family home evening last Monday and played a fun game where everyone ties balloons around their ankle and you try to pop everyone else's balloon
- We played lighting after district counsel to pick where to go to lunch and we ended up going to Chili's
- We took our recent converts to the temple, except no recent converts showed up... that was pretty tragic, but it was still good because we got to go to the temple!
- Ramiro got the priesthood and paid tithing for the first time yesterday!! It was so sweet and he was so happy!
- Hermana Kennard and I performed a musical number in church yesterday and I gave an impromptu talk
it went pretty well though!
it went pretty well though! So yesterday, our musical number was one of my favorite hymns, "This is the Christ" and it is such a powerful song. If you haven't heard it yet, you should go listen to it. It's based on 3 Nephi 11 when Christ appears to the people on the ancient Americas after His resurrection. While He's there, He takes the time for every single person to go up and see the wounds in His hands and in His side. I love that everyone got to go. Everyone got to have their own personal witness and testimony that He is the Christ. The Savior of the world. And He wants each one of us to have that testimony, that personal relationship with Him as well. You should all go listen to the song or read that chapter, because it is so powerful.
Love you all!
