America (Week 33)

 Hello everyone! Happy Memorial Day  I hope you all are have an AMAZING day and that you saw lots and lots of miracles this week! I know I definitely did 

On Monday we had lots and lots of lessons and it was really cool! Last week we found a really cool lady named Flor and we went by the next day to teach her and she brought ALL her friends to listen to us and it was so cool. She loves the gospel so much and so do her friends, so we went by their house a couple of times this week to teach them!

Last week me and Hna Pier were models for Kinty (a member of our branch) because she owns a store and needed tall people to model her dresses. So, if you have Instagram, go check out Kinty's Crafts and maybe I'll be on there 

This week we were tracting and there was a group of little girls playing outside and they ran up to us and asked if we wanted bracelets! Of course we said yes, and they made us each a rainbow loom bracelet and it was so cute! They have their own little business and they sell the bracelets at school  they also asked if they knock doors with us lol, we said yes, but they were too invested in their bracelet making 

We also had Zone Conference this week, President Pinnocks last one before he goes home, which is kinda crazy  It was really good, we talked a lot about teaching with the spirit and being clear and straightforward which I loved. Definitely still working on applying it though 

Exchanges!! This week I had exchanges with Sister Aikele and it was SO fun  We worked so hard and ran around everywhere  We found a really sweet lady, Josefina, and her granddaughter, Ariana! They came to church yesterday and absolutely LOVED it and it was so cool. It was really a testament to me to talk to everyone because they were walking on the other side of the street, but God really consecrates our efforts

And that's what my spiritual thought is!! God loves our effort. Of course He can and will work miracles in our lives, but we get so much more from it when we put in the work and seek to find the miracles! But God knows you perfectly, He loves you more than you can imagine  And He has a plan for you even though life almost never goes as we plan it. God's way is always better, even if it's unexpected or seems harder than the way we had planned!

Week 32

 Hey everyone! I'm writing this a little bit late  so it's going to be pretty short! I hope you're all doing well and that your week was AMAZING! 

My week was pretty busy and we had some pretty cool miracles! I don't have time to go into detail, but God is so good! When we put in the effort, He makes everything work out. Maybe not in the way you think, but His way is always better!

Transfer News! (Week 31)

 Hello everyone! I hope you've all had a Fantastic week, full of good things  My week...was crazy  

Starting off, on Monday we had our last pday activity of the transfer! We played real soccer and then chair soccer   and it was fun! 

On Tuesday I said goodbye to Hna. Simko  it was really sad and I really miss her, but I'm glad she gets to be back home with her family! I was in a trio with 2 english sisters for the rest of the day and it was a little but scary because it meant that I had to teach all of our lessons and do all the talking...but it all worked out (mainly because God is REALLY good) He definitely consecrated all of our efforts!

On Wednesday, I was still in a trio. And honestly, it was kind of frustrating, just different working styles  but once again, God is good and it all worked out!

Thursday I got my new companion  Her name is Hna. Pier and she's from Texas! She's been on her mission for almost a year, and she's so cool! I'm really excited to get to work with her this transfer 

Friday we had our last interviews with our mission president  He and his wife go home in about 6 weeks, which is kinda crazy. It was also weird having interviews less than a day into the new transfer  but it was good, really surreal that he's going home so soon

Saturday, nothing really crazy happened 

And then Sunday! It was mothers day (shootout to all the amazing mothers) they're amazing! Our friend Lety was supposed to be baptized yesterday, but some things came up in her life and she wasn't able to make it to church. Please pray for her  We're going to try to sort everything out with her this week!

Spiritual thought:

This week was really stressful at times  I felt like I didn't really know what I was doing for a lot of it lol. But God is so real and He is so good! We saw so many miracles this week. There were a couple things I dropped the ball on, but every time I did my best to fix it, God stepped in and worked miracles. I know that this is God's work, because everytime things start to fall apart He provides another path, a better path for us! I can testify that He's in each one of your lives, although sometimes it doesn't feel like that. Sometimes things just fall apart. But as we keep going and moving forward, He helps us piece everything back together and lightens the load that we carry

Hello Everyone! (Week 30)

 Hello  I hope you're all doing AMAZING and enjoying life! I didn't write last week because life was crazy, but it's been a good two weeks! 

Last week we ran into Mark, a random guy that we talked to a couple weeks before, and he remembered us! He was really funny and showed us his car (the video will be in my Google photos) and he also promised to come to church (he didn't show). But I have faith he'll get there one day, who knows - maybe we'll run into him again 

We also had the Why I Believe fireside again! For those of you who don't know, that's when all the missionaries from the low desert (Yucaipa, Yucca Valley, and Palm Desert) get together and we invite all of our friends and some recent converts share their conversion stories. It was really really good and I got to play the clarinet in the musical number we did! 

This week was crazy - it was my companions last full week before she finishes her mission  so we were running every which way and it was so fun! All the Spanish members in our stake had a festival type thing this weekend, so basically there was a lot of games, and partying, and food! It was really fun, and we even had some friends and inactive members join in 

So, those are the highlights from my last 2 weeks! This week is also going to be crazy (surprise surprise). We have transfers (my companion goes back to Utah ) and our friend Lety is going to get baptized on Sunday! She has some health problems so please pray for her
