Back on Bike (Week 75)

Hello! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fire 🔥 week! Mine was...eventful. Here's what happened:

💥Monday we had family home evening 🏡 with the Rayas
💥 Tuesday we had a lesson with one of our sweetest friends Karla, and we had to stop teaching her 😢 It's just not her time yet
💥 Wednesday we had zone conference and Peter M. Johnson came! It was SO good and I learned SO much. It was definitely one of the best zone conferences of my mission.
💥 Also on Wednesday, I gave my departing testimony...it was a weird feeling. But overall it was good!
💥 We had english class and some lessons on Thursday. We also got dinner from one of the members in our ward and they made us HUGE burritos. They were delicious 😋
💥 Friday we had soccer night ⚽️ I'm getting better, so thats good! We also got an interesting call on Friday night from the Assistants to the President...
Nothing bad, but basically there were some sisters who were on bike that had a health problem (nothing serious) and they needed us to be on bike! So I'm gonna be a bike hermana for the next 3 weeks 🚲💪
💥 Saturday we got the bikes, and basically spent the rest of the day biking from place to place. But it was a good day ☺️
💥 Sunday! We got a ride to church from our roommates and after church we switched out one of the bikes because the tire was leaking and then we went and knocked some doors!

This week I learned a lot about patience. One of the things talked about in Zone conference is that you have 2 ears and 1 mouth. Take time to listen to people, to understand what their needs are. It's something I've really tried to apply this week and it hasn't been easy, but it's helped me a lot to focus on things outside of myself.

I love you all and hope you have a great week
